T-Mobile and Sprint announced their plans to merge at the very end of April. Since then, the companies have been working to obtain regulatory approval for the merger and concurrently have been making the requisite filings related to the merger. For example, in June the companies released a 700-page public interest filing with the FCC as part of their merger efforts. On Monday, Sprint and T-Mobile filed their S-4 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
